为深入贯彻落实习近平总书记关于“一带一路”倡议，推动共建人类命运共同体，随着中国与世界的接轨，以及世界一体化的进程，需要大量精通两种语言以上的人才。双语学习不仅对儿童思维发展存在促进作用，还能提高青少年的语言表达能力和交往能力。国际双语大会应势而生，自2022年开展，以“传播中国声音、双语沟通世界”为宗旨，扎根中国，讲好中国故事，传播中国文化，创造一个双语学习、交流的平台，切实提高中国青少年的跨文化交流能力，培养国际视野，增强民族自信，从容地走向世界，走向未来！

国际双语大会锻炼青少年的双语写作和口话能力，分为写作季（秋季，每年9-2月）和演讲季（春季，每年2-8月），每季均采取中、英文两种方式进行，选手根据自己的兴趣和特长，可选单项参加，也可二者均参加，展示双语才能和风采。

       As China integrates with the world and globalization advances, there is a growing demand for talent fluent in more than two languages. Bilingual learning not only promotes the development of children's thinking but also enhances adolescents' language expression and communication skills. Against this backdrop, the International Bilingual Contest was launched in 2022. Rooted in China and guided by the mission “Spreading the voice of china, Bilingual communicate the world,” the contest dedicated to telling China's stories well, disseminating Chinese culture, and creating a platform for bilingual learning and exchange. It aims to effectively improve Chinese adolescents' cross-cultural communication skills, cultivate a global perspective, boost national confidence, and empower them to stride confidently into the world and the future!

       The International Bilingual Contest trains adolescents in bilingual writing and speaking. It is divided into a Writing Season (autumn, September–February) and a Speaking Season (spring, February–August). Both seasons are conducted in both Chinese and English. Participants may choose to compete in either category based on their interests and strengths, or take part in both to fully showcase their bilingual talents and personal charm.
